Transcend Time Saga #3 Timeless

This is one book I genuinely liked. Presenting Transcend Time Saga #3 Timeless by Michelle Madow.

Here is the summary of the book:

IT'S A RACE AGAINST TIME. In Remembrance, Lizzie and Drew changed the course of fate so they could be together. In Vengeance, Chelsea set fate back on its original, deadly path. Now, strange things keep happening to Lizzie. Things that are omens of darkness to come. A curse has doomed her to die an early death, just as she did in her past life. To make things worse, even if she can figure out who cast the curse, it's irreversible. There's only one option left for her to save herself. It's crazier than anything she's heard yet, and to do it, she'll need Drew and Chelsea's help. Because to make things right, they must go back to when it all began …

Not a big fan of re-incarnations or insta-love but I liked Remembrance and Vengeance. They were both okay-ish books. While I definitely loved their setting and the prose like writing.....there was always something missing always. The charm of re-incarnated love of lives past was sadly not there. But moving on this (i think) is the final book of the series and I thought it was quite good, still room for some improvement there too.

So, this follows just after Vengeance, now we see what Chelsea wrought upon them all with her curse. Everything as it should be - now that totally spells trouble. When Drew and Lizzie realize the real culprit behind those freak accident - crows colliding with wind shields, winding down fire places when it is burning. Its a race against time to correct the mistakes made in the heat of the moment.

The characters as usual were just there, somehow I still don't feel connected to them at all. But I definitely think Chelsea was an improvement, she wants to rectify what she did in the second book. Then there are those freak accidents, the author should have gone deeper or made them a tad more life threatening then there is the memory guide, there are so many points in this book that needs a polish. But the great thing about this series was the way Ms. Madow cultivated the idea of Taylor Swift's song and made it so much more. Good attempt though.

  1. I don't think that you can really find a YA book these days that doesn't have the insta-love involved unfortunately, great review, thanks for stopping by.
