"This was the first book I read in 2012 and this was the first book of Maria V Snyder that I read...oh I plan to read all of her books soon... but whats more striking with this book is the level of details put forth in this world.

High levels of detail are always welcome with me! I just love beautiful imagery, as long as there isn't TOO much (which I end up skipping just to read the narrative parts)
